Although helping my son pack body armor and grenade sacks has never been my dream of ideal Mother-Son quality time- Ill take what I can get. I am so very thankful for the opportunity to; see Austins new car, visit the base and the town in which hes been living and to meet some of the other brave people with whom he will serve in the coming months. It is a bizarre and prideful feeling to witness your child surviving on his own away from the nest! I know this may be a repeat post, but Im SUPER thankful to be spending this precious time with my boy! Happy Thanksgiving Eve everyone!!❄️
