Although it may not appear that way the Vietnam Veterans struggle everyday just to get through. Its called coping, some days are better than others and some days it just isnt worth venturing out. I left Vietnam 45 years ago to come home, when I got home was told to wear civilian clothes so as not to get into an ambush of Peaceful Americans that hated us. While attending the University of Cincinnati in 1970 I found some of those one night along with 5 of my brothers. Nuff said on that. Aside from the PGR which was born in 2005-6 the only people that ever welcomed us home were fellow Vietnam Veterans. There are exceptions like the brothers and sisters of the PGR and a couple other groups but not many. In cases like John Kerry he wouldnt know a Veteran if he spit in his face. Thats another story. Imagine you are in a stadium with 60,000 thousand people and only 6 are Vietnam Veterans, I think that is 1%, to the Vietnam Vet that means that 59,994 of those people hate you and they all look like you. So today I chose to use my granddaughter as an excuse to not venture out and stay at home as I already know that my fellow veterans are with me and I am really tired of patting each other on the back. It gets really depressing when you think about the people that represent us in DC. Take Harry Reid for example he says he never called anyone a liar(although there is plenty of video to prove him wrong) but he is absolutely correct you cant call some one a liar that has never made a truthful statement. His father should have been shot for not using a new sock. I do not hold all politicians with disdain, I just believe they are all crooks pointing the finger at us. There is not one honest politician alive today. This is why Veterans and hard working Americans are being told we have to support over 12,000,000 ILLEGAL individuals in OUR Country. In their countries you would be thrown in prison beat, stabbed and killed for being ILLEGAL. Here we give them an eduction, Social Security which is ours not the governments, and welfare with free hospitalization. It was not a good day to venture out and about. Today I hate people especially those that dont appreciate all the sacrifices given by our Veterans and all those walking talking self lubricating Dildos in DC that we politely call Gentlemen Politicians. Our Countrys biggest enemy is Washington, DC and the individuals that exist there. Rant is over had to get it off my chest. WELCOME HOME my brothers and sisters.
