Although the idea of Trinidad and Tobago as a Chocolate Destination is relatively new, for quite a while there have been several options if youre interested in entering the world of chocolate. 1) Theres the village of Brasso Seco in the Northern Range where you can walk through cocoa estates, buy cocoa products from the Tourism Action Committee and now talk to the Brasso Seco Community Chocolate Company or Omarbean. 2) Theres Lopinot village where the Guerrero family has a restaurant serving chocolate influenced cuisine in addition to making their own chocolate bars. There is also a new Lopinot Chocolate Company who will soon be selling bars in the village 3) Theres Grande Agro in Sangre Grande where there are classes, tours and lots more cocoa and chocolate related to explore.
