Although the rider of this formidable machine remains unidentified, it is believed that the little boy on the bicycle behind the pacer is someone named Richard Morris, perhaps not the Richard Morris who sometimes comments in this column, but another Richard Morris. It is also believed that the same or perhaps it was a different Richard Morris was the designer of the propeller sleigh in the comment which follows this posting. Any additional thoughts on this will be most welcome as well as appreciated.
