Although there are many different interpretations of this 4th century coin from the Persian province of Judea (Yahud), one is that Yahweh is riding his winged celestial chariot, bearing an eagle in his hand. This might then connect the chariots of the sun (2 Kgs 23:11) that were kept in the temple, with Yahwehs four cosmic chariots in Zech 6:1-8, and the celestial wheeled chariot-throne in Ezek. 1.
