Although to many, it may seem normal to leave one church and join another, to the Pastor it is the most painful act. My heart had been torn into millions of pieces because of those who left the church for any and every reason. After having invested my time and that of my family; my effort, my love and money and my prayers to develop people, the day they leave they just up and go as if I never meant anything to them. For their sake, I sometimes fought with others to protect them. Then you hear that they left and celebrated leaving you. By the way, this is not a pity party or sour grapes.
