Altogether four railway employees sustained severe burn injuries when an engine of a train exploded after catching fire accidentally Barsoi- Mukhuria rail section of Katihar rail division here late last night. DRM Katihar Arun Kumar Sharma said here that the engine of a goods train suddenly caught fire near Katihar railway station. When the railway employees were trying to douse the flames, the engine exploded in which four railway employees sustained injuries. Senior section engineer Vimal Choudhry who was wounded critically was rushed to the railway hospital in Patna whereas the rest were undergoing treatment at local hospital.
