Alumna Lois Conners current solo exhibition at the The Cleveland Museum of Art,Beijing: Contemporary and Imperial, spans three decades of the celebrated photographers black-and-white panoramas capturing the Chinese landscape. Connor spoke to The New York Times about how encountering a view camera during her time at Pratt informed her craft. “There was something about having the camera on the tripod that allowed me to pause,” she said. “It just made sense to me.
