Can you please look if there is way to improve the process of requesting transcripts for alumni? The current process looks simple on paper but there is so much paperwork involved. For example, In any mail correspondence with the transcript office, they do not include the history mail in the response. How can we keep track of the documents and the communication with multiple emails floating around? In addition to that, I had to sent numerous documents to them via email - Passport copy, Transcript front and back page, Degree Certificate and Request form. I do not understand why I have to send a copy of my transcript (front and back!) when that is what I am requesting from the college. In my request, I also needed the transcript office to attach another document stating that the office has received my request and processed it. This is so that the institution receiving the transcript knows for sure that it is transcript office that sent the document. They did not ask me to pay extra money to fill the document but they asked a friend of mine to pay an extra Rs 200 for the exact same document (to fill in 2 lines!). I am still trying to get my transcript and I believe I will get it shortly. However, I would request that we improve the process for future students. Thank you, Sir. I am hoping we can create a simpler and more streamlined process for alumni who require transcript. I am also hoping that the college can establish some form of online payment system so that any fees can be transferred online rather than by demand draft.
