Alway ward in Newport had an Online Chat on OWL last night and CSO - TopicsExpress

Alway ward in Newport had an Online Chat on OWL last night and CSO Alex Donne and PS Emma Smith were joined by 10 members of the public to discuss local issues. This is the second time an OWL web chat has been run in Alway and they are growing in popularity. Concerns were raised by residents during the two hour chat about parking, school issues, sheds being broken into to name but a few. These concerns will now be looked at as a priority for the team and officers will update local residents on their progress. Future chats may also include partner agencies such as Newport City Homes, Charter Housing, local councillors or Newport Transport. The next online chat has been arranged for Lliswerry ward on 24th November between 7pm – 9pm and local residents are welcome to get involved. OWL members will be sent a link to join in the chat via OWL five minutes before the start. If you’re not a member of OWL and would like to sign up, go to owl.co.uk/gwent - it’s free to join!
