Always a delight to have Andrew Lang as our regular guest on Friday mornings for a chat about all sorts of things but mainly waste to energy. Here is some information that is written about him when he is a guest speaker at conferences: Andrew Lang is a farmer and farm forester in SE Australia and bioenergy consultant. He has represented the Australasia-Oceania region on the board of the World Bioenergy Association since 2008. He is a Churchill and Gottstein Fellow and he has studied energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies in the Nordic countries, USA, China, India and Austria. His particular interest is in the underpinning policies, economics and the logistical issues involved in development of biomass and waste-to-energy technologies for cities and down to scales applicable for businesses or single farms. In addition Andrew follows development of energy from wind, solar, mini hydro, and hydrogen fuel cells, and the development and commercial realisation of low emission vehicles including electric, hybrid and bio-fuelled vehicles.
