Always find a way to work a weakness, create and adapt ways to fix the issue. Here is a client of mine deadlifting, she has a habit of raising here hips too high on the first pull and not pulling the bar tight enough to her legs, thus failing to keep her shoulder blades retracted. So I used this band technique to force her to pull the shoulders back and engage those upper back muscles more effectively. Now there is still a slight lift, but before she was almost nose diving! :) so thats progress. You will find that a movement can be fixed by some very important cues, so a phase of this technique and then a phase off should aid the issue. Think about your lifts....dont just use Mong strength to get weights from A to B....it is important to feel the correct muscle groups that you want and have to engage. #TeamHOT #bediffrent #sprint&lift #becomeawesome
