Always loved John Peels Festive 50s and like many others recorded the shows on C90 cassettes every year. To mark 10 years since Peels death Ill be posting a rundown of some of my favourite tracks on FB on the run- up to Christmas - my favourite number 50, 49 and so on. So, if you like this kind of thing, do listen, comment, like, share etc. Back on track after a busy few days. The standout track from 1988s disappointing major label release, Jit Jive. Bhundu Boys only Festive Fifty entry but an excellent one. Still some of the best gigs I ever went to.
