Always something happening on the farm. We finished the 6 week programme with Aaron Mashano - Leaders of Tomorrow, training young refugees on how to milk cows. This has been an amazing experience for us. We have met the most beautiful people, mainly from Africa and Sri Lanka. They have a really good attitude to life, and we have had some very interesting conversations. It certainly was an eye opener to hear some of their stories. We are so lucky in Australia, not to be exposed to the atrocities that happen in Africa, for simply just wanted to be educated. We start the programme again in September, with Leaders of Tomorrow and the Salvation Army. The aim being that we teach the young people farm skills so that they can find jobs on farms. Rowan and I volunteer our time, although we dont get paid, the rewards and incredible energy we get from working with these people, is priceless.
