Alzheimer’s Hits the Silver Screen in “Still Alice” Still Alice is an upcoming film starring Julianne Moore in the titular role of Alice, a renowned linguistics professor diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. The film, based on a book by the same name, chronicles the struggles of the family as Alzheimer’s tests their bonds and redefines relationships. We’re really excited about this film because we hope it helps open a larger dialogue about Alzheimer’s disease and how demanding it is for families as well as patients.
