Btw, I was originally going to try more au-naturel vocals, on this particular song we intentionally recorded them flattened and processed Thats it for now with my series of directors cut remixes. Masterpiece and others will have to wait. Im contemplating long and hard how to take my new album forward. Its totally completed musically, and the big question is how to put it out there. As usual, in this brave new world (and timid new world if I may be so bold as to describe how I feel that the music biz is becoming) Im re-evaluating this. And in great part due to you, the community that participate in this facebook page, as a kind of group-source A+R department. Thats you guys. Theres not a lot of A+Ring going on other that in my world. Other than the biggest influencer, Laurie Mayer, who should never be under-estimated! But whats getting me is that Im hearing that the album wont be able to be released till May. Eek! In order to promote it correctly. I know that I dont have to promote it to you all here (bless you), but the cold hard wider world, well. Should I even be trying to sell myself? It doesnt come naturally, and usually its the music which speaks, albeit in a rather esoteric voice. Thoughts?
