Am I the only ENFP who wants to learn All The Things about something before I do it? Is this a Si/Ti thing? Even this weekend we have been hanging art and I wouldnt let my husband even start until I had self smarted myself on all the wisdom and information on the best way to do it and what the rules were and what the thinking and theory behind the rules are. I am with this with EVERYTHING. Years ago I tiled my kitchen but first I had to read six tiling books and then pick the brains of two people I knew who had done it and then talk to two different pros. THEN I ripped up my floor. We like to joke about how capricious we are, and I am, but I also need to be totally familiar with the entire forest and have three maps to cross reference before I do a project. I wonder if it is my Ne needing an overview to steer my Si or what? Anyone else?
