Am busy trimming the edge and lawn. Nearly all by-passers - TopicsExpress

Am busy trimming the edge and lawn. Nearly all by-passers seemingly are looking @me weirdly...Finally one stops: Friend: Hello bro, dont you have a garden boy? Friar Chiko II: I am the boy gardening..Do I look that old? I smiled , fixing my spectacles well. Friend: oh okie. If you need a worker do let me know. Friar Chiko II: sure thing dear. I will! Peace be with you As I continue cutting the edge, so many questions congest my mind. Do I look like one who cant do manual work? Is manual work for a particular class of workers? Does manual work de-humanize me? What is my culture of work? What is my philosophy of work? Above all, work in any form for me is GRACE. I call it my spirituality of work. I feel more human when I, through work, humanize nature. I give a beautiful form, shape to the lawn or flowers . In turn, my work on nature humanizes me, gives me pleasure and fulfillment. Creation blossoms @th touch of my hand... hence realizing in harmony wth nature my lifes project namely Full self-actualization. Work helps me realize th stewardship the creator of all that is Good bestowed on me as an individual of rational nature. I thank him for the gift of my humanity. As I continue cutting the edge, I offer my heartfelt prayers to all working, in hard conditions such as miners, my mothers sweeping our streets, security personnels ensuring order & peace, gardeners, farmers like my parents, astronauts in space, cooks, carpenters, undertakers (digging graves), prisoners with hard labour, bus conductors, kaponyaz, mortuary attendants, cleaners, managers, etc...that their work may not enslave them, but that they be masters of all labor, through Christ our Lord who worked with his hands @th instruction of Joseph & Mary, AMEN. Keep your gardens neat and tide, they may save you from a hospital bed.
