Am copying and pasting an urgent message from Mike Raper regarding the incredibly unfortunate eviction of Bohemian Grove by this coming weekend - one of the last of the warehouse spaces in Sydney with regular live music and also the home of Daniel Pliner who is here with me in Berlin..please anyone of you in Sydney in the know of this great space and these great guys give a helping hand if you can is a really difficult situation...x Hi all, the day has finally arrived - Bohemian Grove is being evicted from Sophia St. We need urgent help to make this happen quickly so were asking for assistance in terms both physical and monetary. All effects need to be out of the property by this Sunday. All day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will be at the grove removing EVERYTHING - walls, couches, everything. If youre available to help with this please post within this group. Also if youre in need of a couch or fridge or something let us know. This is bound to cost a lot so over the Friday/weekend well have a donation bowl set up at the grove. If you have the inclination, please help us out. Weve been very pleased to present this space over the years as a platform for improvised music to be presented as an art form. We hope that youve enjoyed it as much as we have.
