Am made to understand that Sufism is not Bida. Others say it is a disbelief, Kufr, especially that of Tijaniya that I belong to. Quran has clearly stated that kufar are not to go on pilgrimage to Mecca. The National Imam of Ghana, Dr. Nuhu Osman is in Mecca. What prevented the learned Islamic theologists of the Saudi Arabia Kingdom to disallow him to perform the Hajj. Maulana Shayhu Ibrahim Niasse , Khalifa of Sidi Tijani performed Hajj and had fruitful discussions with the Imams and the learned Islamic leaders in Mecca during his days. I suggest that time has come for muslims to do away with who is right and who is wrong syndrome and show love to each other devoid of insults and accusations and counter accusation. Our impact will be felt by all. Imam Khomeini of Iran is quoted as saying that those who sow the seed of discourse between muslims are not muslims. United we stand.
