Am primit prin email următorul comunicat: Press release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dublin, 09/11/2014 Sunday, 9th November 2014 the Romanian community in Dublin will protest against the shameful way the Foreign Affairs Ministry has organised the first round of Presidential Elections. On the 2nd November 2014 tens of thousands of Romanian citizens living abroad couldn’t vote due to the reduce number of polling stations and staff. In Ireland there were only 1 polling stations, at the Romanian Embassy in Dublin and more than 5000 people could not express their constitutional right to vote. The same situation was in most of the European countries, where Romanians were denied the constitutional right to vote and today we will come together to express our outrage towards this breach of democratic rights. Therefore, people are taking to the streets to ask their Ambassador to create more voting stations, to double the staff at the polling stations and to extend the voting hours till 11pm GMT. The static protest will take place in front of the Romanian Embassy in Ireland, on Waterloo Road, Dublin 4 starting at 2 pm, today! Și de unde cifrele exagerate că 5000 de oameni nu au putut vota, eu știam doar de vreo 60 care nu au mai apucat? Aștia nu au auzit că nu se creează mai multe secții, nu se prelungește ora de vot și că s-a suplimentat personalul?
