Am so excited about attending an artist retreat this coming week - 5 full days of learning from other artists and being with amazingly creative people! However, since I signed up at the last minute, the pressure has been on to produce all of pieces that everyone will bring for various swaps, etc. So, here are my contributions! The theme is Arches so one assignment was to bring 2 identical pins using the theme and colors (orange, green and blue), so I decided to make mine have motion to reflect the creative energy of the group. Then, Ill be participating in the pendant swap where we bring 5 pendants and swap with 5 other artists so that everyone gets to take home someone elses creation - so fun! Here are my pendants, which all have the same design, but I did a color study using different combinations of colors and textures for each. Am getting psyched, but have to run and turn the pendants into necklaces!
