Am sure the name of this group has nothing smelling Botswana, South Africa or Zimbabwe about it. It is not based in Gaborone, Harare or Pretoria. It therefore comes abit disturbing to find some South Africans having a go at Botswana internationals for mocking Bafana Bafana. I would tolerate where there have been insults thrown, that I would also decampaign. Let us sensitize with those around us. With no disrespect intended on Batswanas, Zebras have not given them much to talk about hence the resort to ridiculing, belittling and mocking of South Africa. However, the national team of this group is South Africa not by any chance let me remind fellows. We cannot have people forced to shy away from broadcasting Bafanas failures because there are no prohibitons in times of succesful sujourns. I for one would not take pride in mocking SA but I dont think there is anything uncouth with that as long as no insults and deragatory names and labels are applied. In this case, Bafana is like Chelsea, Manchester United or Arsenal and Botswana could be any other opponent, perhaps let us say Manchester City. My question is will it make sense bringing City fans to book for mocking Chelsea? Botswana fans are at no clash with rules of the group by trolling SA but I am also against that. However, my personal taste and preferences cannot overshadow the group policies and protocol that has not been infringed by Botswana fans. Let us all be equal, no one is more equal... #14
