Amahl and the Night Visitors came to a close at the Barre Players - TopicsExpress

Amahl and the Night Visitors came to a close at the Barre Players Theater with a packed house...so packed the director, Sandy Pickens, had to search for a place to squeeze me into the audience. Elisabeth Gondek and her son Frederic were outstanding as the lead mother and son with Elizabeths voice soaring above the full cast and choir. Julie Rawson served as music director and her husband, Jack Kittredge was a lowly shepherd along with my friends Louise Huppert and Phil Hubbard and about a dozen or so others. Following the production as free treats were handed out to the audience, veteran actor-director-set designer, Tim Waite led the crew tearing down the set. Tim played General Winfield Scott in Lincoln:The Musical, by Michael P. Riccards a play I directed at the Orange Town Hall two years ago.
