Amajita were crowned Commonwealth Cup champions after defeating Finland 2-1 in the final in Russia. David Notoanes men took the lead in the 15th minute courtesy of fine header from captain, Motjeka Madisha while Pule Maraisane fired Amajita to victory with a fine finish. Notoanes men qualified for the knockout round by finishing second in their group, and then went on to defeat Russia in the quarterfinal, before beating Belarus 4-3 via the penalty shoot-out.
