Amale, Exactly 4 years ago, end of October 2010, the website of Artists Initiative “Khetanes” was launched. In 2011 “Khetanes” became an official foundation, so that we could apply for official grants. Repeatedly we tried to get some financial support. But in spite of the fact that we were invited to Strasbourg and Brussels, we never received a penny. A serious disappointment, but no real surprise! How could we expect grants from a society that we want to change? However, we did not give up. We continued our activities as a proud and independent network. Today Khetanes contains 500 videos and 5000 photos and it includes the names of over 1000 individuals and bands from more than 50 countries worldwide. Khetanes is on its way to become the largest online exhibition of Gypsy art and power! Many world-famous artists have joined, outstanding scholars are with us. We are planning special pages on film, literature and music and we allocate extra pages for youth. The more people join, the more convincing we are. That is why it is important that we keep on growing. Invite your artists friends to join! Also passive supporters are welcome. Yet we also need some more coordinators in the fields of literature, visual arts and paintings and Khetanes Juniors. Also we invite people to help us maintaining and improving the site as webadministrators. It won’t take more than 1-2 at most hours per week and is much more effective than the postings on Facebook. Comment pourrions-nous nous attendre à des subventions de la société que nous voulons changer? Toutefois, nous navons pas lintention de renoncer. Nous avons poursuivi nos activités en tant que réseau fier et indépendant. Aujourdhui le site Khetanes contient 500 vidéos et 5000 photos et il comprend les noms de plus de 1000 individus et groupes de plus de 50 pays à travers le monde. Khetanes est en voie de devenir la plus grande exposition de lart Gypsy en ligne et puissante ! Beaucoup dartistes de renommée mondiale ont joint, déminents savants sont avec nous. Nous prévoyons des pages spéciales sur le cinéma, la littérature et la musique et nous allouons des pages supplémentaires pour les jeunes. Plus de gens nous joignent, plus convaincants nous sommes. Voilà pourquoi il est important que nous continuons à croître. Invitez vos amis artistes de s’inscrire à Khetanes ! Aussi participants passifs sont les bienvenus. Pourtant, nous avons également besoin de quelques coordinateurs dans les domaines de la littérature, des arts visuels, des peintures et de Khetanes Juniors. Wie konnten wir Geld erwarten von einer Gesellschaft die wir ändern möchten? Wir haben aber nicht aufgegeben. Wir haben unsere Aktivitäten durchgesetzt als ein stolzes und unabhängiges Netzwerk. Heutzutage umfasst „Khetanes“ 500 Videos und 5000 Fotos, und enthaltet die Nahmen von mehr als 1000 Individuen und Bands aus mehr als 50 Ländern in der ganzen Welt. „Khetanes“ macht sich auf den Weg die grösste online Ausstellung von Gypsy Kunst und Power zu werden! Viele weltberühmte Künstler haben sich angemeldet, prominente Wissenschaftler sind bei uns. Wir bereiten speziale Seiten vor für Film, Literatur und Musik, und wir reservieren zusätzlichen Seiten für Jugendlichen. Je mehr Leute sich anschliessen, um so glaubhafter wir sind. Deshalb ist es wichtig das die Zahl von Mitgliedern wächst. Bitte, ladet befreundete Künstler ein sich bei uns anzumelden! Auch passive Unterstützer sind willkommen. Dennoch brauchen wir auch einige Koordinatoren auf dem Gebiet der Literatur, bildenden Künsten und Malerei und „Khetanes Juniors“. Weiter laden wir Leute ein uns zu helfen bei der Pflege und Verbesserung der Seite als Webadministrators. Diese Unterstützung nimmt nicht mehr als 1 – 2 Stunden (höchstens) pro Woche und sie ist viel effektiver als die Publikationen auf Facebook.
