Amanda Christine Fielding-Bell and I need some input: Were getting ready to switch from ImOn Communications to Mediacom and are thinking well go with internet only. Currently, streaming Netflix impacts other devices on the network using Imons 15GB service and Mediacom offers 100GB (w/1TB cap) for $55/month. It may be an option to stay with Imon if they can guarantee similar speeds. As were looking to get away from cable, we need a service for local stations as were planning on going with the Apple TV. From what I see with Apple, the Apple TV comes with ABC and we would be able to install the NBC and CBS apps on one of our iPads and use AirPlay. What are we missing? Keep Netflix and possibly add Amazon Prime ABC included with Apple TV NBC app: free and use AirPlay CBS app: $5.99/ month and use AirPlay Apple TV includes several popular channels and were assuming robust content with A&E, History, Lifetime, PBS and Disney. Anyone have advice on other options? From what Ive read Apple TV has a larger selection built in and we have a smart TV for Prime if we get it. Thanks!
