Amanda Johnson So, I came back from vacation and 3 of my fish and 1 snail were dead. Two of the fish were new (only had them a week or so) and the other Ive had since February. I think maybe they got either under fed or over fed while we were gone. Water is clear. I received my test kit yesterday. Tested the PH, High PH, and Ammonia last night. The PH is just a hair high, by about .1 or .2, and the ammonia was at a .25. Do I need to use a PH reducer of some sort? I dont know what the PH should be at for my snails either....the test kit didnt give any specifics for snails. Or would the PH lower when I do the water change?
