Amazed 1 Corinthians 8:2 is a short verse, but one that has come to have real meaning in my life, And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. Here is what this verse has come to mean to me: The more I realize of God, the more I realize how little I know of God. It is almost as if God is represented by this enormous mountain, and it is shrouded in fog. As the fog retreats, I can see how vast this mountain is and how little I have really seen, how little I have explored, how little I have experienced. I am in awe as I look at this enormous mountain. I once thought, Im really mature in God. Ive learned so much. Look at these gems Ive dug out! And Ive experienced this, and Ive climbed here, and Ive looked from the heights. Then the fog began to roll away, and I realized I hadnt even gotten out of the foothills yet. God just really amazes me. -Bayless Conley-
