Amazing. Day!!! Veteran #130 was such a nice man and now volunteer with MBV! The whole group new to MBV was wonderful and it felt like we were friends forever :)) Good people bring the good in others! . We went on our pick ups and as usual met so many nice people that show how truly small the world is. First house for the dining room set Dan new and Andrea ended up knowing my brother Vincent from Pines Bridge. :) which warms my heart. Just like I met Dan from Our Lady in Transition and being the caretaker. Even he was a Vinny connection. We went and picked up a beautiful living room set from Cari & Rob, new donors that have stocked us up one again :). It was nice to have them meet the Veteran we were moving and know couch was going directly to him. After this pick up, we loaded up at storage and unloaded and gave #130 donations. We will stock him up more next Sunday when he helps again a long with Dan! Great volunteer day! It was nice spending time with Danielle and having another co pilot. Our Lady In Transistion was doing good as well and was spending time with another friend Kenny P, that even took her food shopping for me :)) The extra special part about today is Veteran #130 reminded me of my Cousin Charlie that passed away and learning he was even from same area in Jersey! Such a similar personality and another blessing of a connection. ;))) Great Day is an understatement! ;)
