Amazing Grace Sun, 20 Oct 2013 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) Just as a gentleman opens a door, carries a heavy bag, and spreads his coat over your cold shoulders, God wants to show Himself strong in your life. His grace is the gentleman that opens doors for you that no man can shut, lifts your heavy burdens, and spreads a warm coat of comfort and peace over you. Grace does for you what you haven’t been able to do yourself. Let God be that gentleman in your life that shows His muscles in your weaknesses. When it feels like it’s impossible to forgive, grace will help you. When you find it difficult to face your fears, grace will give you courage. When you feel you have gone astray, God’s grace will help you run back to Him. When there doesn’t seem to be a way out of a problem, God’s grace will alert you to a way that you didn’t see before. It is truly sufficient for you! Prayer: Father, Your grace is sufficient for me. Revive me through and strengthen me through Your grace. Help me do what I can’t do in my own strength. I receive Your grace in abundance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
