Amazing YELP review from a client (now friend) at GoLow. This is what we are talking about people!!!!!! Thanks Bob....we appreciate you! I went to GOLOW for the first time and was a little apprehensive because Ive never used a golf simulator before. I made my tee time on line and was greeted with smiles at the door. The owner, Paul, escorted me to my bay and set me up with the driving range feature on the kiosk. He quickly showed me how easy it was to use the touch screen and how to navigate around the menu. After a few shots I was amazed at how accurate the ball cameras were. Like a proud owner he brought up a performance tab and it displayed all the statistics for my shot. It showed the angle of club impact with degree of loft and the spin I imparted which was confirmed on the big screen in front of me. I told him I wing the ball to the right a lot, but dont know why. Paul pulled up the performance tab and showed me exactly why. With the angle of impact and improper spin it was clear why. I told him thats very impressive; I still dont know how to fix it. Since it was quiet, he coached me through some corrections, and I thought this is great, but is he going to charge me? He didnt and proceeded to explain how golf is his passion and he wants others to enjoy the game as much as he does. After nearly an hour of Pauls instruction I was hitting it properly and it showed on the computer. He corrected my angle of attack and spin. It was going where I wanted it to. He asked if I wanted to play a few holes on a real course in California. I wanted to see how the computer moved you through the course after every shot. It was amazing and fun. It gives you exact distance with an overview of the hole. Again, you can examine every shot if you wanted, or move on to the next shot. Later he came back to check on me and asked if I wanted to play a game? Paul brought up a par three on the course and quickly programmed it for two players closest to the pin. Each shot was displayed in feet and inches and after each round the computer reset for another round. Using my new found skills Paul taught me I was pleased to give him a challenge. After several rounds I decided I had to go. My body was not used to hitting that much. I wasnt out of the parking lot before I texted a friend and asked if he wanted to play there next week. He answered back with great enthusiasm and I made another tee time. If you want to work on your game, or just have fun you can accomplish both. No sunburn, heat, or wind and you never lose a ball. And since you arent walking to the next green, a full 18 holes for 2 people takes only about 90 minutes! What a wonderful concept; indoor golf. You have to try this. The technology today is truly incredible. Bob, USAF Ret.
