Amazing coincidence! Alfred Cameron served in the 3rd Light horse - TopicsExpress

Amazing coincidence! Alfred Cameron served in the 3rd Light horse in WW1 (pictured 3rd row, 3rd across) and landed in Gallipoli in Nov 1915 and later served in Egypt (Also pictured) until being sent home ill with Malaria in 1919. This is where the story for me personally though comes full circle - my father just pulled out some old binoculars he has in storage from my Great, Great Uncle Norman H Mcbride who was ALSO in the 3rd Light horse (KIA at 23 in Palestine 1917)....ie the same 3rd Light Horse that Alfred was in! This sent goosebumps down my spine when i confirmed with AWM records this week! Theres 7 Days and $1,800 (or receive nothing at all) to raise before we find out if we hit our crowdfunding target for the Black Anzac Documentary. To help bring this and many other moments of this amazing story to life you can contribute here: pozible/blackanzac cheers Hego
