Amazing how many, especially #Labour because of its admittedly declining heavy Scottish representation, argue in favour of #devolution for some constituent parts of #TheUnion but not for others. How is it #democracy to allow MPs from some member states to vote on matters pertaining to #England yet deny that same right to English MPs? Its like arguing in favour of overtly biased refereeing in sport. Why would you do that? How can you justify that? Its pure self-interest and a disgrace to democracy, but then Labour has always had a democracy deficit and dislikes being constrained by it. Are we to see #AlexSalmond voting down purely English issues at #Westminster while denying England that right over Scottish affairs? Actually, even he does not argue in favour of that. Laws and rules must be universal or it undermines and brings the whole system into disrepute. Change it. Make it fair and even. Make it right.
