Amazing,incredible, most beautiful place I’ve ever seen! This was our second day in Zhangjiajie, today we would go inside Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The weather was still little rain and full of mist. Our guide told us that we’d better not go to the top mountain firstly coz the fog, but we could see the sandstone peaks from the bottom of the valley. So we went to the Ten Miles Painting Gallery first, different shape, high, short, huge, slim sandstone peaks were standing on the side of the valley. The most vivid sandstone peak is like an old herb picking man, you even can see the herbs in the basket on his back, we took the small train, and it was very relax to view the beautiful scenery in the train with slow speed. Thanks for our guide from zhangjiajietourism. She had much guiding experience and knew how to adjust the itinerary due to the local situation. Then we went to Tianzi Mountain, after we took cable car up to Top Mountain, it was heavy fog and rain, we couldn’t see anything, I was so worried. My guide comforted me that the fog was always moving, so we just go and try. Indeed we were lucky enough, we saw the fairy lady present flower peak, and we saw numerous peaks stand with different shapes and poses, covered with lush vegetation. It was sea of trees and sea of peaks. The fog are surging and rolling like waves, it was beautiful, unbelievable!! The regret thing was that we didn’t see the imperial brush peak. My guide told the story about Xiang, a local emperor in Tianzi Mountain. After Tianzi Mountain we took the green bus to Yuanjajie-avatar world. The weather turned cloudy afternoon, so we had an excellent view there. When we arrived the natural bridge, we saw the man who were making the performance-picking wild mushroom on the cliff with a rope on his waist, my guide told us that before the develop of tourism, local people here were very very poor, they picked the wild mushroom for living. Actually, I didn’t like mushroom. I was so exciting, everywhere we took pictures and we didn’t want to leave. Avatar peak was amazing; it was more than 300 meters high from the bottom of the valley rising up, I could imagine myself was the bird flying among the peaks, my husband and I said after back home we must watch the movie again, and said “Wo, this place I have been there!!” We are so excited that our guide gave a nick name to us “lovely couple”. Today’s visit ended after we visit Avatar Mountain. Then the family hotel host diver us to his home. It was 2 floor house, but with clean room, air conditioner, kind of wood warmer in the” lobby”, Wi-Fi, we were stay around the warmer and searched internet, talked with my children, it was nice and sweet, like being home. Stay inside the park so that we don’t need take inner bus out and in next morning. It can save our time so that we can spend more time in enjoying the amazing mountain.
