Amazing job USAF! Some still remember The Candy Bomber (who is still alive and a spokesman for the LDS church) and the other pilots that joined in. I think of Brother Ed Holifield (PLBC) (USAF-Retired) who was part of it and used to throw chunks of coal at the MIG fighters that would hound them as they flew in. He said that he actually hit one and it scared the Rusky so bad the MIG broke away. That was Brother Ed, trying to start WWIII with a chunk of coal.
