Amazing, succinct summary of how we are destroying ourselves and our health through lack of sleep, from an MD and former Navy Seal who knows a little bit about sleep deprivation. BTW - People (Like me!) with autoimmune dysfunctions/diseases are estimated to require 10-12 hours of sleep a night to improve/counteract the disease. I have had rampant insomnia for 8 years and am attempting med school in my late 30s. Boy am I screwed.
