Amazing to experience Festival Des Templiers with so many races going on over weekend. Based in the small town of Millau, France. I was never expecting much going into this race (74km 3400m) off the back of injury and a fall last week hurting my knee. I started strong but on the descent into the first check point (21km) I had pain in my knee which began to worsen. From there on through check point 2 I gradually slowed until I could run no more. I walked from 38km to 44km where fortunately I met DROZ PHOTO and got I lift back to the finish. Thanks Damien! Hopefully Ill be able to return in 2015 for another crack at this amazing race!
