Amazingly calm. Just went for evening walk down to local canal and watched the flickering lights of TVs from the surrounding houses: heard the occasional plop of a fish breaking the surface; watched the lights of planes coming in from the north-west heading for Brisbanes airport and followed with interest the sounds and lights of a person practicing take-offs and landings at Redcliffes airport; searched the night sky and found the Southern Cross and the Pointers but no satellites. Havent done this since my Mum and Dad passed away in the same week some 8 years ago. Think I should be stressed about new classes I am taking on tomorrow with new students and a totally new course. Strange feeling of peace and that I am in the right place at this point in time.
