Amazon Bullies It didnt take the bully reviewers long to find my 20th Anniversary Codex listing on Amazon. My first copy of the book arrived this Friday, and yet they claim to have found it at a used bookstore. Thats the best they could do to pretend legitimacy? One-star reviews from people who have never read a book but simply dislike the author are a quiet but alarmingly common way in which authors are bullied on the Internet. Amazons especially bad for it, as they require no proof that someone has actually purchased a copy of a book in order for that person to leave a review of the work. This means that some authors will create sock puppet accounts to boost their own reviews by posting fake ones -- and the haters do the same, creating multiple dummy accounts just to bash their targets. If you have an Amazon account, perhaps you could be kind enough to report their drivel? I wont ask you to write a review if youve not read the book, as thats not any better than what the bullies are doing. But if you have gotten a copy, an honest review to counteract this mean-spirited nonsense would be greatly appreciated. amzn/1503050963
