Amazon clearly has top-notch negotiators at the helm and this is a brilliant tactic even I had used during acquisition of Real Property as gift to my elderly mother who refuses to depart US soil when I do and wishes to remain amongst Americans. In order to attain a favorable price model in this case thus your approach is to pretty much offer a ridiculous price on terns that may even appear to be savage and barbaric to the other party but what you are really seeking is for them to hit the panic button due to anxiety your offer creates amongst others as here we see just how well this worked that the British Broadcasting Service has deemed this a newsworthy event lol! Then, when you have the other party all up in arms you say, well, perhaps I can do a little better and draw them mind you in direction of a lower price you had in mind to begin with. Life is a BIG negotiation process but I dont take no prisoners!
