Ambassador Gerben Sjoerd de Jong, the Netherlands Ambassador to Bangladesh, who is currently visiting The Hague, was our guest today. His visit is a testimony of a new kind of diplomacy. Why? This gives us an opportunity to jointly pursue our issues to the mutual benefit of our two people. Gone are the days where diplomats worked in isolation beyond the knowledge of the very people they are suppose to serve.
