Ambassador Omar Faye Hang Up Phone On Editor MBai; DC Police Says No Arrest Has Been Made Yet On The Assault of F Camara and Ous Mbenga; State Department To Get Back To Us On The Alleged Expulsion Of Pierre Minteh!!!! Folks: I have just called Ambassador Omar Faye to seek his reaction on the hotel story incident. Faye picked up the phone by saying: This is Faye. Once I identified myself as Pa Nderry MBai of Freedom Newspaper/Freedom radio, Faye was speechless for a minute before he hung up the phone on my ears.. Lol. Faye was bit nervous when he heard Editor MBais voice on the phone. He could not believe that Editor Mbai would be able to get his cell number. I call him on his personal cell line. One of Omar Fayes girlfriends in Atlanta reports to me. She is my agent. She works for me... Lol... We also contacted the DC Police Press and Public Affairs Division. We spoke with Ms. Istmania Bonilla, who confirmed to us that Fatoumatta Camara and Ousainou Mbenga have indeed filed an assault complaint against two black males. The description and height of the suspects was read out to us on the phone by officer Bonilla. She told us that no arrest has been made so far on the DC hotel incident, where the Gambian dictator has been holed up for hours by the protesters. According to officer Bonilla, there are different sister security agencies involved in the investigations. She said she was not aware of any arrest made by the DC police in regards to the incident. She said detectives are still investigating the matter. She told the Freedom Newspaper that both Ms. Camara and Mr. Mbenga were briefly hospitalized and discharged the same day. She also could not confirm about the arrest of Pierre Minteh of the DC Embassy. She said she was not aware of any such information. When asked if it was possible to conduct a radio interview with her, Ms. Bonilla, said she has to get in touch with her boss, who was out of the office at the time of contacting her. She said her boss has been designated to speak to the press. She also asked me to send her an interview request, of which she promises to forward to her boss. Below is the email, i sent to her: .............................................................. Hi Istmania: It was a pleasure to speak to you on the phone.
