Ambassador William Hanna, Head of the European Union Delegation to Ghana, on Wednesday, 10 December 2014, paid a courtesy call on the Editor of the Ghanaian Times, Mr. Dave Agbenu at his office in Accra. He also met the News Editor of the newspaper, Mr. Matthew Ayew, the Chief Sub Editor, Mr. James McCauley and some of the journalists of the paper. They discussed general issues concerning the development of the country and how to forge collaboration to promote the EU-Ghana partnership. Ambassador Hanna commented on human rights issues in commemoration of the international Day of Human Rights which was marked yesterday 10 December. He indicated the involvement and support provided by the EU in promoting human rights around the world and in Ghana. He indicated also the preparedness of Europe to help in the creation of jobs in the country by promoting investment and improving trade relations.
