Amblecote contractor rated a Considerate Constructor City West’s contractor Bardsley Construction, developing 78 new build homes at Amblecote, has been awarded a certificate demonstrating ‘Performance Beyond Compliance’ by the Considerate Constructor Scheme (CCS) against its Code of Practice. The certificate demonstrates the site is performing well above the minimum requirements of the scheme’s code and has also shown a number of additional measures demonstrating that they are performing to a very good standard. Bardsley have worked with City West to hold a range of community events such as painting site hoardings with the school children at Dukesgate Primary School, a spring clean event providing skips for customers to dispose of rubbish as well as litter picking in the local area and health and safety talks at Dukesgate Primary. The CCS is a national initiative, set up by the construction industry, to improve its image and our Amblecote development site will continue to be monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice.
