Ambrose Nwaogwugwu Wrote> May I please correct an impression here, ever since the judgement was given to Emperor Rochas, my inbox havent rested a bit with all manner of people buzzing me to notify me that the Emperor has won.....and I asked , why the fuse??? The court case with the Emperor and Ohakim was not a substantive case, rather Ohakim only fired an interlocutory appeal weather he could join in the suit instituted by sen. Ifeanyi Ararume or not. So why the jubilation? I heard that the camp of the Emperor are throwing parties around town to celebrate the victory,, what an utter ignorance? Before they jubilate, they should please be reminded of the impending court case fired against the Emperor by APGA which will soon commence hearing as APGA has vowed to remove the Emperor. This is the main court against the Emperor and not some trifle court like the interlocutory injunction of Ohakim... APGA is praying the court that they should declare that by the virtue of the provisions of Section 177(c) and 221 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended and Section 97 of the Electoral 2010 (as amended) and the effect of the Supreme Court decision in Amaechi Vs INEC reported in 2008, 5 NWLR part 108, 227 particularly at page 317-325, the Imo State governorship mandate given at the April 2011 elections remains with the plaintiff (APGA) and the said mandate should be exercised by the deputy governor of Imo State or Speaker of the House of Assembly or any officer next in line to the office of the governor. So before you start throwing in party around the town, the worst is yet to come!
