Amelia collapsed and had a seizure Yesterday. It was the scariest experience ever but this post is not meant to be about the incident itself but about why. She had been having headaches and stomach aches for a few months and had been on a gluten and lactose free diet as we suspected some form of food intolerance. After spending Saturday at the hospital doing MRI scan, blood test, urine test, heart tests and being hooked up to various monitors and seeing different doctors ..we got no answers, all was fine. She had an unexplained seizure and it was not a heatstroke as all her vitals were fine. We had a great doctor with a very holistic approach to medicine who said to do some research .. So I did . I knew that ADHD, and autism had already been linked to food additives. I found disturbing articles and research on corn syrup, soy, aspartame and various other additives. We live healthy, buy organic and dont have soda or lots of junk in the house..but the above additives are in practically EVERYTHING and overloads your system with toxins. They are banned in many countries for causing, amongst MANY other things...SEIZURES IN CHILDREN as they mess with the neurons in the brain. Scary and unbelievable that these ingredients are allowed in the US. The FDA and Mosanto should be ashamed of themselves. Its all about $$ and greed. Screw peoples health.
