Amen! I agree with this post: In these days before the coming of our Lord for us, the most deceptive counsel any minister or teacher can give is, Lets just follow Jesus and be ready! This type of misguided reasoning totally dismisses our Lords exhortation to watch for the events warning us His coming is near (Mat. 24:33). WHY WATCH? (Rev. 3:3, 1 Thes. 5:4) Jesus warns many believers will be deceived. (Mat. 24:4-5) The truth is during the great tribulation the church will experience the worst apostasy in her history! (Mat. 24:9-26). The reason why Jesus exhorts believers to repent and watch is critical to understand (Rev. 3:3) Repentance is sorely needed now because of the compromise sweeping through the body of Christ! (2 Tim. 4:3-4) Living holy brings discernment. This explains the lack of spiritual discernment of Christian leaders deceiving millions of believers by assuring them they will be raptured before the Beast wars against the saints! (Rev. 13:3-7)
