Amen? I am not the judge, jury nor executioner....but if you do not believe, you need to reexamine your findings...have you seen a newborn baby on the chest of his mother? Have you seen a sunrise or sunset? Have you seen any of the 7 wonders of the world? In my opinion, they should not be called wonders...I do not wonder at all..I KNOW!! I think they should be called the 7 CREATIONS! Think of the most beautiful place you have ever been...or the greatest love you have ever known. Now examine that beauty...do you think that place, or feeling just came to be? No...it was CREATED! Created by the MOST RENOWNED ARTIST ever known. Every morning when the sun rises , if you are not out surrounded by nature...just crack your window and LISTEN...you can hear God speaking to you. Open your mind, open your heart...it may take time...but your soul will hear it, see it, feel it, smell it..and even taste it in the air. I believe that outdoorsmen/women have a special, different kind of spiritual connection, as we are in Gods backyard more often..and live , breathe, witness Gods GLORY on a more regular basis. We even take what he has given us for food...we pray for it and praise him when he allows us the harvest. In Genesis 1 : 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. I challenge everyone who has never been in the forest when the sun makes its appearance, to just spend 1 morning....and look, listen, feel , smell, taste everything around you. The animals wake up happy and singing..the sun peeps from the East, the morning dew drips on the forest floor, you can smell the air, taste the dew ...your eyes adjust from the darkness, to accommodate the light...so you can take in all the magical sights of the dawn of a new day... It is the most majestic sight I have ever witnessed. It is GOD, saying GOOD MORNING! So the HUNT is NOT about the trophy AT ALL....(yes, it is nice to be blessed with meat on occasion)....The HUNT is about the time in the woods with our Creator. My hunts are about my spiritual connections and my relationship with with my Lord. Stay grounded, my friends...remain humble. Prayer and Praise will result in Peace. God Bless!
