We survived the landlocked woes of the past through pragmatism & sheer common sense, not physical or numerical might. So, let common sense & pragmatism prevail. The people of Botswana have voted their choice of government, including increasing the opposition, because they wanted to exhibit the maturity of their democracy. They wanted to enhance their democracy. Clearly, the nation shows its want for the three arms of governance to be strong, visible & unfettered with. So let it be & it can only be so if patriotism gives way to partisan frivolities. Botswana has spoken: is the leadership listening?
